Occasionally when I tell someone that I’m an animal communicator, I get a “yeah right” response, both in words and in looks. There are those people who don’t believe that our pets want, can and do talk to us. Nor do they believe that someone like me can actually hear what our pets are saying. Animal communication can be a pretty far-out idea for some.
How do I respond to the nonbelievers? I don’t. If someone doesn’t want to believe that animal communication exists, there’s not too much I can do about it. Perhaps a friend or family member’s pet will reveal something to me in a conversation that I would have no other way of knowing……”the proof is in the pudding” as my mom would say. Sometimes it takes this sort of revelation to have someone become a believer. Most of the time we believe because we do……no other explanation is necessary.
Does it bother me if someone tells me that they don’t believe I can communicate with animals? Not really. I feel confident in my ability to connect with and hear what animals are thinking and saying. I have had several conversations in which a pet will say “I know a secret”. Many pet owners have said to me….”How did you know we wanted another baby?” or “How did you know we wanted to move?” or “How did you know I didn’t like that person? Nobody knows this.” I proceed to tell them that their pet told me……
So, if you don’t believe that animal communication is a possibility, that’s ok with me. We all have things that don’t quite fit in with our view of the world. But if you do believe that animal communication is not only possible but real, you might want to make sure your pet is out of the room when you’re talking about something you don’t want anyone else to know about. Our furry friends have big ears and love to be a part of what’s going on in our households…….they also love to talk about it.
Blessings to you and your furry friends,
